Elsa Perez has been appointed Director of Sales & Marketing at Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa in Marina Vallarta,, Mexico
Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa is proud to announce the appointment of Elsa Perez as the new Director of Sales & Marketing. In her new role, Perez will oversee all marketing initiatives for the resort, and work closely with management in determining sales strategies across relevant market segments to grow awareness and maximize revenue. Perez began her journey at Marriott Puerto Vallarta as a reservation agent in 1994 and 23 years later, her natural talent and leadership skills have helped her advance into new roles and remain an important part of the resort team.
Constantly motivated to take on new challenges, Perez joined the event management team in 2001 as Groups and Conventions Manager. In 2012, Perez was promoted to Director of Event Management, a role in which she won the Marriott Leadership Diamond Award in 2016. In 2014, she was selected for the Event Council for Marriott Caribbean & Latin America and is still an active member.
