Waldorf Astoria Chicago proudly introduces Ashley Ochse as the newly appointed director of sales and marketing. Having previously served as the Director and Complex Director of Catering Sales & Event Management at Waldorf Astoria Chicago from December 2013 to January 2017, Ochse is familiar with the 214-room hotel and the excellence of the Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand. With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Ochse emerges as an esteemed leader, renowned for her unwavering commitment to client satisfaction and revenue maximization. With a steadfast dedication to delivering unparalleled service and creating lasting experiences for guests, Ochse is primed to lead the sales team in driving revenue and further enhancing the hotel's esteemed reputation as a premier luxury destination in the heart of Chicago. She joins Waldorf Astoria Chicago from The St. Regis Chicago where she most recently served as the director of sales, group & catering and was a part of the hotel’s opening team.
Throughout her past roles, Ochse has developed extensive knowledge of the luxury hospitality market throughout Chicago. She’s also held positions throughout the destination as Executive Director of Chicago Gourmet, a prominent food event in the city, and as the President of Bunker Hill — a private luxury resort with all proceeds benefitting charity. As a versatile leader, Ochse has showcased her expertise in managing large-scale budgets, orchestrating seamless events, and fostering lucrative relationships and partnerships.
Through her years of experience, Ochse has earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious title of Waldorf Astoria Luxury Division Director of the Year for the Americas.
Ochse is a true Chicagoan as she was born and raised in the city, and plans to continue to use her local knowledge to elevate the hotel experience. During her spare time, she enjoys exploring the city’s culinary scene, spending time with her husband and twin children and coaching her children’s sports.
