In this role, Andreas will lead the storied property into a new chapter of excellence following its acclaimed opening in the summer of 2024. Since its debut, the property has earned numerous international accolades, including three Michelin Keys, captivating travelers from Austria, Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom with its seamless blend of traditional sophistication and modern luxury.
With Rosewood since 2011, Andreas brings a wealth of experience and extensive knowledge of the brand, having held key leadership roles at several distinguished properties within the portfolio. His deep understanding of Rosewood's A Sense of Place® philosophy and expertise in crafting ultra-luxury guest experiences quintessential to the brand uniquely position him to enhance Rosewood Schloss Fuschl's standing as a beacon of refined hospitality.
As Managing Director, Andreas will oversee all aspects of the hotel's operations, guiding a diverse team of over 180 employees from 40+ nations who communicate in more than ten languages. His leadership will focus on delivering personalized experiences rooted in cultural authenticity, while fostering the timeless elegance and modern indulgence that define the Rosewood brand.
Half Danish and Swiss German, Andreas has a profound appreciation for Alpine landscapes and lakefronts. Fluent in German and four other languages, his connection to German-speaking countries was shaped by summers spent in Switzerland with family. His career highlights include leadership roles at world-class destinations such as the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz and Grace Bay Club, as well as the successful reopening of Rosewood Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin Islands, which he transformed into a multi-award-winning property.
