The Feathers, Woodstock, is delighted to announce the appointment of Stephen Browning as Hotel Director. With an extensive background in luxury hospitality and a reputation for his strong leadership skills, Browning will be responsible for all hotel operations and enhancing the overall guest experience while spearheading the next phase of The Feathers Hotel evolution following its reopening in October.
Browning joins The Feathers from Dormy House Hotel, also in the Cotswolds, where he held the position of Executive General Manager since 2019. Under his leadership, the property maintained its position as one of the UK's leading boutique hotels, recognised in Condé Nast Traveller's Readers Choice Awards as one of the UK's top Hotels and awarded for outstanding hospitality and service in the AA Red Star Hotel Awards.
With an impressive track record in elevating guest experience and inspirational team development, Browning also spent nine years with Exclusive Collection where he was General Manager of The Manor House in Castle Combe, a five-star country house hotel, home to a Michelin-starred restaurant and a championship golf course.
