Yvonne Wang HR Lead MEIA Region at Shangri-La Group in Hong Kong, Hong Kong (SAR)
Shangri-La is pleased to announce the appointment of Yvonne Wang as the new HR Lead for the MEIA region. Yvonne brings over 20 years of diverse human resources experience, with deep expertise spanning all core HR functions, and she is no stranger to the Shangri-La family.
Prior to rejoining Shangri-La, she served as the global director of rewards at Dubai Holdings, where she played a key role in the successful integration of Dubai Holdings, Nakheel, and Meydan. Her appointment marks a homecoming, as she previously spent more than a decade with Shangri-La and Traders Hotels, where she laid the groundwork for a strong HR leadership career.
In her new role, Yvonne will oversee the people strategy for the MEIA region, with a focus on strengthening organizational capability and supporting business growth in a dynamic, multicultural environment. She will work closely with property-level HR teams to drive operational excellence and ensure alignment with Shangri-La's values and strategic objectives.
As a member of the MEIA leadership team, Yvonne will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the region to ensure the HR agenda is closely aligned with business priorities. Her proven track record in delivering strategic HR initiatives and leading complex transformations puts her in a strong position to contribute impactfully to the region's continued growth.
