Shawn McWhorter has been appointed General Manager at Hilton New Orleans St. Charles Avenue - LA, USA
Hilton New Orleans St. Charles Avenue, recently acquired by HRI Hospitality ("HRIH"), is pleased to announce the appointment of Shawn McWhorter as General Manager. With over three decades of hospitality experience and 10 years with HRI, McWhorter has established himself as a leader in creating, leading and inspiring teams of hospitality professionals through strategic thinking and pushing creative limits. He joins Hilton New Orleans St. Charles Avenue from The Barnett and Maison Métier, two HRI portfolio properties, where he served as Complex General Manager.
Prior to that, McWhorter was the Director of Operations at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Salt Lake City Downtown, where he increased quality assurance scores and built a culture of model service while assisting in hotel renovation oversight. At the same time, McWhorter held the position of Area Director of Food & Beverage while taking on multiple General Manager task force assignments throughout Dallas, Portland, Miami, Jackson Hole and New Orleans.
