Banyan Tree Dubai and Delano Dubai are pleased to announce the appointment of Anders T. Dimblad as Cluster General Manager. With over 25 years of international experience, Dimblad brings strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a distinctive blend of Scandinavian heritage and Asian cultural sensibility to the role.
Dimblad began his hospitality career in Singapore, managing one of the city's most prestigious luxury resorts before joining Banyan Group in 2003. Over the years, he has held key leadership roles across the globe, including in the Seychelles, Kuala Lumpur, and most recently, Phuket. His return to the UAE continues a legacy of impactful leadership within the Banyan Group, where he previously spearheaded the launch of Banyan Tree's first property in Malaysia and later the opening of Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur, strengthening the brand's presence in the region.
In his most recent position, Dimblad managed the integrated resort complex at Laguna Phuket, overseeing a multi-brand portfolio. Known for his guest-centric leadership and passion for culturally authentic experiences, he has consistently driven innovation in guest engagement and brand loyalty through immersive programming and experience-led initiatives. His deep commitment to wellness-driven hospitality aligns closely with Banyan Tree's philosophy of a Sanctuary for the Senses, as well as Delano Dubai's ethos of crafted simplicity and refined sophistication. Recognised for his multicultural acumen and understanding of purpose-driven travel, Dimblad has received numerous industry accolades, including being shortlisted for General Manager of the Year and named among the Most Influential Hoteliers in the Middle East.
As Cluster General Manager, Dimblad will oversee the strategic direction for both Banyan Tree Dubai and Delano Dubai—two flagship Ennismore resorts. Delano Dubai is managed exclusively by Ennismore, while Banyan Tree Dubai operates under a co-management agreement with Banyan Group.
