Capella Residences Seoul will present a Four-Hands Celebration Dinner on 8 and 9 August at award-winning flagship property Capella Singapore, bringing together Chef Edward Lee of Culinary Class Wars fame with Chef Eric Neo, Culinary Director of Capella Singapore.
By hosting this milestone event at Capella Singapore— where the Capella vision took shape and sank roots in Asia— the occasion takes on deeper significance as Capella marks its expansion from hospitality operations into Korea's luxury residential market with Capella Residences Seoul.
The celebration will unveil the vision for the groundbreaking development where Capella Residences Seoul will be located and the unique lifestyle it will offer residents. As Ambassador of Heonin Maeul, Chef Lee will bring his expertise to shape the gastronomic experience within Seoul's last remaining forest sanctuary community.
Edward Lee, recently featured in Netflix's Culinary Class Wars, is one of the most acclaimed Korean-American chefs today. Born in Brooklyn to Korean immigrants, Lee's culinary journey began with a love for Southern food and a chance encounter with 610 Magnolia in Louisville, Kentucky, which he now owns. The restaurant is recognised by Food & Wine Magazine as one of the country's most important restaurants of the past 40 years. Lee also serves as culinary director for Succotash restaurants in Washington, D.C.
A James Beard Award winner for his writing, Lee blends Southern flavours with Korean spices, drawing inspiration from his heritage and training in New York kitchens. His culinary style reflects his diverse background and commitment to using locally sourced, ethically produced ingredients. This marks his first official collaboration in Korea and his debut as an ambassador for a luxury residential brand.
