InterContinental Boston, the city's premier luxury hotel located along the historic Boston Waterfront, proudly announces the appointment of Vinson Huynh as Area Creative Director. Building on three successful years leading creative strategy at InterContinental San Francisco, Huynh will now oversee visual direction and brand storytelling for both InterContinental Boston and InterContinental San Francisco—bringing a locally tailored, design-forward approach to luxury hospitality marketing. Huynh's creative direction is set to further elevate InterContinental Boston's position as a leader in modern urban luxury.
Huynh joins InterContinental Boston with a strong track record as Area Creative Director for InterContinental San Francisco, where he has spent the past three years spearheading innovative campaigns, reimagining guest-facing experiences, and strengthening brand identity across multiple platforms. In his expanded role, he will continue leading brand innovation for InterContinental San Francisco while now also overseeing creative strategy for InterContinental Boston, where he will drive visual storytelling, on-property brand experience, and strategic content development.
Huynh brings over a decade of creative expertise across visual design, photography, digital content, and omnichannel strategy. At InterContinental San Francisco, his work has redefined the guest experience—launching immersive campaigns, leading award-worthy content production, and boosting brand recall by a sizable percentage through cohesive, high-impact storytelling. Under his leadership, the hotel also saw an increase in online bookings and a rise in event inquiries, underscoring his ability to blend artistic vision with measurable business results.
As Area Creative Director, Huynh will now leverage his past successes and develop and execute marketing strategies, experiential content, and visual assets that drive revenue growth and elevate the InterContinental Boston identity across digital, print, and in-person touchpoints.
In his bi-coastal role, Huynh will regularly travel between Boston and San Francisco to lead and unify creative direction across both properties. His cross-market perspective will ensure a cohesive brand identity while celebrating the distinct culture and character of each city. A passionate photographer—whose work has been published everywhere from billboards in Times Square to renowned culinary and LGBT magazines like DNA and Plate —Huynh brings a unique artistic lens to his role. As Area Creative Director, he will channel this creative perspective into visual storytelling that reflects the essence of the brand and the vibrant spirit of the destinations it represents.
