Salamander Collection has appointed Beatriz Jurs as a director of national accounts at Half Moon, the iconic Jamaican resort setting a new benchmark for luxury in the Caribbean. This strategic addition further strengthens Half Moon's dynamic sales leadership team and reflect the resort's continued investment in best-in-class talent.
With more than two decades of luxury hospitality experience, Jurs will oversee national accounts for the Southeast, Texas, Midwest, West Coast, and Latin America. Known for creating high-impact group experiences, she brings a strong foundation in sales leadership, having held senior roles at Velas Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Renaissance Hotels, and Valor Hospitality Partners. Her career was further shaped by her time at HelmsBriscoe, where she earned top accolades including the President's Club and Shining Star Award for her excellence in client engagement. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and creating memories with her family.
Managed by Salamander Collection and just 10 minutes from Sangster International Airport, Half Moon features a triumvirate of resort options across its 400 acres: Founders Cove, Eclipse and The Villas. Founders Cove features its own crescent-shaped beach, swimming pools, swim-up bar and is adjacent to Half Moon's tennis and recently renovated fitness amenities, and the Anancy Children's Village.
