With over a decade of cross-industry experience in hospitality, technology, and digital media, Sooraj brings a well-rounded perspective to brand building and strategic communications. His most recent role was with Hyatt Centric Hebbal Bengaluru, where he led pre-opening marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns, media engagement, and brand positioning efforts that successfully introduced the property to a competitive market.
Previously, Sooraj served as the Multi-Property Marketing & Communications Manager for Courtyard by Marriott in Madurai and Trichy, with the latter being a pre-opening project. In this role, he drove key brand collaborations, developed property-specific campaigns, and enhanced guest engagement through tailored content and influencer partnerships. His contributions were integral to elevating both properties' visibility in Tier 3 markets and creating strong media narratives in line with Marriott's brand ethos.
Over the years, Sooraj has worked across various hospitality environments from pre-openings to operational hotels shaping comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives while resonating with evolving guest preferences. His strength lies in crafting distinct brand voices and executing campaigns that blend storytelling with measurable ROI.
A Visual Communication graduate from Madras Christian College, Sooraj blends creativity with a results-driven approach.
