
The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai has appointed Crisdean Porciani as director of quality.
With more than a decade of experience across luxury hotels in Europe and Australia, Porciani has built a career in quality assurance, guest engagement and operational efficiency.
His expertise spans pre-opening strategy, cross-departmental service readiness, and implementing global quality frameworks that align with industry-leading hospitality benchmarks.
Most recently, Porciani was part of the senior leadership team at W Edinburgh, where he played a pivotal role in the hotel's pre-opening. There, he spearheaded initiatives to elevate service standards, enhance operational performance, and ensure brand-aligned guest experiences from day one.
In his new role, Porciani will oversee the resort's quality and guest experience programmes, ensuring that service delivery remains consistent with The Ritz-Carlton brand promise. He will also work closely with department heads to design and implement training programmes, strengthen service culture, and drive continuous improvement across the property.
Porciani holds advanced certifications in hospitality management and quality leadership, and is recognised for his ability to inspire and mentor teams, foster collaborative work environments, and create meaningful guest experiences.
