Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre has announced the appointment of Stéphane Buchholzer as its new hotel manager.
A seasoned hospitality professional with more than three decades of international experience, Buchholzer has previously led teams across Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Central Asia.
Prior to joining Le Méridien Dubai, Buchholzer served as complex executive assistant manager - F&B at the Mina Seyahi Complex, where he oversaw operations at W Dubai, Le Méridien Mina Seyahi, and The Westin Mina Seyahi. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in launching five new F&B concepts, strengthening brand positioning, and contributing to the complex's continued commercial success.
His career highlights include curating award-winning culinary destinations, such as overseeing 28 venues at Al Habtoor City and spearheading acclaimed openings in Doha and Baku. His portfolio features outlets that earned titles like Best Italian Restaurant in the Middle East and Restaurant of the Year in Qatar.
In his new role, Buchholzer will focus on revitalising the hotel's F&B offerings and restoring them to their status as premier dining destinations in Dubai. His first-year priorities include enhancing cross-departmental synergy and reinforcing a service culture built around meaningful guest recognition and consistent excellence.
Guided by a leadership philosophy rooted in inspiration, integrity, and continuous improvement, Buchholzer encourages his teams to challenge the status quo. To rising hospitality professionals, his advice is simple: "Be passionate, never give up, and understand the 'why' behind every action."
