OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group today announced the appointment of Karen Kurosawa as Director of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), effective September 22, 2025. Kurosawa joins OUTRIGGER from CDP Reporter Services in New York, where she served as an Accounts Manager advising Fortune 500 companies on environmental disclosure, emissions verification and alignment with leading frameworks including TCFD, GHG Protocol and SBTi. She holds a Master of Arts in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.

In her new role, Kurosawa will oversee the collection, analysis and reporting of environmental data across OUTRIGGER's global portfolio, advancing the company's sustainability goals. She will drive green initiatives and contribute to broader social and governance priorities that enhance the positive impact of OUTRIGGER's ESG platform. Central to these efforts is OUTRIGGER Zone - the company's award-winning global conservation initiative that engages guests, hosts and communities in protecting the health of the oceans and coral reefs.
