Karl Kutzelnig has been appointed general manager of the upcoming SLS The Red Sea. The launch will bring the Ennismore brand to Saudi Arabia for the first time.
With over twenty years of international hospitality experience, Kutzelnig will oversee all operational aspects of the resort. His remit includes establishing the property's positioning, building a skilled team and driving partnerships that strengthen both guest experience and market presence.
Kutzelnig's career spans the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Africa, where he has managed multi-property portfolios and led large-scale repositioning and development projects. His background covers a range of operations, including hotels, serviced apartments, villas and dining venues.
He has previously delivered improvements in profitability, operational performance and service quality, as well as directed major events and refurbishment programmes. As general manager, Kutzelnig will guide SLS The Red Sea through its pre-opening and operational phases, focusing on talent recruitment, team development and operational execution to meet the brand's global standards.
