
Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort, Fiji, the South Pacific's premier eco-luxury destination celebrated for its deep commitment to sustainability, marine conservation, and authentic Fijian hospitality, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nigel Fisher as its new General Manager.
With more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in five-star hotels and resorts across Australia, the Philippines, China, Malaysia, and Thailand, Fisher brings extensive operational expertise and a passion for people-driven hospitality to his new role.
Most recently, Fisher served as General Manager of Banyan Tree Krabi in Thailand, where he led the resort's post-opening operations, enhanced guest experience, and advanced sustainability initiatives. His global career also includes senior management roles at Angsana Teluk Bahang in Malaysia, Banyan Tree Ringha and Banyan Tree Lijiang in China, and the Marco Polo group of hotels in China and the Philippines. Earlier in his career, Fisher held leadership positions with Four Seasons Hotel Sydney and Hayman Island Resort on Australia's Great Barrier Reef.
Prior to joining Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort, Fisher was the owner and director of Mithril RHS Corporation, a hospitality company based in Manila, Philippines, offering short-term accommodation, residential cleaning services, and consultancy services to hotel and restaurant owners.
