Maxime Brun General Manager at Les Bateaux Belmond in St Usage, France
Les Bateaux Belmond is pleased to announce the appointment of Maxime Brun as its new General Manager, effective 13 October 2025.
Maxime is responsible for strategic management and operations, and for enhancing the guest and employee experience across Belmond's fleet of seven riverboats in France. His appointment will further strengthen Belmond's commitment to its Slow Luxury ethos, ensuring guests discover a new pace of travel that fosters deep engagement with local culture and striking French landscapes.
Maxime brings a wealth of experience to Les Bateaux Belmond, joining the company from Château Saint Laurent in the South of France, where he served as Director General for the past four years.
Before his role at Château Saint Laurent, Maxime served as Director for France at Pink Lady Europe, a non-profit association dedicated to quality, consistency, and sustainable values among apple producers. Prior to that, he spent eight years honing his expertise in the sales and marketing teams at Nestlé France, where he developed a strong foundation in brand strategy and customer experience.
A native of Saint-Jean-de-Losne, the home of Les Bateaux Belmond, Maxime is delighted to return to the region.
