
The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) today announced a leadership transition within its Americas Board of Directors. Andrew Rubinacci, CHSP, chief advisory officer, FLYR, will transition from chair to immediate past chair, and Michael Innocentin, chief marketing officer, Omni Hotels & Resorts, will assume the role of chair for a two-year term beginning in January 2026.
"I am honored to take on the role of Chair for HSMAI Americas and to help guide the association at such a pivotal time for the hospitality industry," said Michael Innocentin. "I want to extend my sincere thanks to Andrew Rubinacci for his leadership and dedication throughout the past two years. His contributions have strengthened HSMAI's foundation and further advanced our mission. I look forward to working with our talented Board and broader community as we continue driving innovation in sales, marketing, and revenue optimization to support hospitality professionals across the region."
At Omni Hotels & Resorts, he leads the strategy, development, and execution of all brand marketing initiatives, including advertising, public relations, social media, digital campaigns, and the website. He also oversees customer engagement and the Select Guest Loyalty programs. His leadership in digital strategy, experiential marketing, and global campaign execution has consistently fueled revenue growth and elevated Omni's brand presence across key markets.
HSMAI Americas' executive committee and board members represent the hospitality industry's most respected brands, academics, and suppliers. The board is composed of senior travel and hospitality executives from a representative selection of HSMAI members.
