
Ahmed Selim will take on the role of director of human resources at Jannah Hotels & Resorts, the group has announced. Selim brings almost two decades of experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) and multi-unit hospitality management to the role, having held leadership positions both internationally and across the UAE.
He joins Jannah Hotels & Resorts from Erth Abu Dhabi, where he served as human capital director, overseeing a team of more than 4,000 employees across luxury hotels, corporate catering, fitness and wellness facilities and dining venues. Here he gained a reputation for successfully delivering large-scale transformation projects, including strategy redesign, organisational restructuring, KPI alignment and group-wide digital HR modernisation.
He also played a key role in leading HR planning and workforce readiness for COP28 UAE. Prior to joining Erth, Selim spent nearly a decade with Rixos Hotels, holding a number of senior HR leadership roles for the luxury hospitality brand including director of talent and culture.
Selim is known for his strategic mindset, expertise in UAE labour law and commitment to cultivating inclusive, people-focused workplaces that enhance operational performance. His appointment reflects Jannah Hotels & Resorts' commitment to strengthening its organisational culture and enhancing employee experiences as the brand prepares for a new phase of business growth.
