Loay Ali

Four Seasons Hotel Amman announces that Chef Loay Ali has been promoted to Executive Chef. Chef Loay brings more than 25 years of experience in the culinary and hospitality world. He joined Four Seasons Hotel Amman in 2002 as a Commis Chef. He proved to be a dedicated and eager chef throughout his career, so he achieved quite a few promotions until he became Executive Sous Chef of the property in 2021, which catapulted him to the Executive Chef title in 2025.

Born in Kuwait, Chef Loay knew from a young age that his love for cooking was innate. At 16, he helped at his father's modest restaurant after school and experimented with recipes at home with his mother. He expanded his culinary knowledge by watching cooking shows and learning through hands-on experience.

Throughout his journey, Chef Loay has worked alongside many professional chefs, gaining invaluable experience and refining his craft. The majority of his career has been dedicated to Four Seasons Hotel Amman. Chef Loay's expertise spans classic and contemporary Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, European, American, and Asian cuisines, along with fine dining, banqueting, and large-scale social and corporate events. He is committed to sustainable food practices, zero-waste principles, and consistently delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.

What really stands out with Chef Loay is that he is loved by his peers in Amman and is recognized for his leadership, mentorship, and ability to develop and inspire young culinary talent.

Outside the kitchen, Chef Loay enjoys travelling, exploring new recipes, and learning about different cultures. He spends quality time with his wife and three children—Mayar, Layan, and Ghazal. Two things to know about Chef Loay is that his favourite cuisine is Thai, and he is a dedicated supporter of Manchester United.
