With nearly 20 years at HVS, Shannon brings extraordinary expertise in market and feasibility studies, facility recommendations, valuations, and complex consulting for a wide range of hospitality assets, including luxury and destination resorts, conference-center and boutique hotels, lifestyle properties, and other complex hospitality concepts that are found throughout the Caribbean region. His specialty lies in helping clients define the right asset class, service level, and facilities program for proposed developments, ensuring strategies that maximize profitability and long-term success.
Shannon's experience throughout the region and resort hospitality sector is significant, with recent projects in Aruba, Bahamas, and Turks & Caicos, in addition to many resort and complex projects in stateside resort markets, such as Key West. Shannon also recently spoke at the firm's CHICOS Conference and published an overview of the conference.
As reported at the 2025 edition of the Caribbean Hotel Investment Conference & Operations Summit (CHICOS), the Caribbean hospitality sector continues to demonstrate resilience and growth. Occupancy remains in the mid-70% range, ADR is holding at peak levels, and RevPAR has stabilized following two years of record performance, driven by luxury resorts, mixed-use developments, and branded residences. These trends highlight the urgency for informed, localized market intelligence and strategic guidance.
