
The Hiltons of Chicago Sales & Marketing Complex, representing Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel, Hilton Chicago, and The Drake Hotel, is pleased to announce the promotion of Alison Wallace to Complex Area Director of Sales and Marketing. Alison has had an extensive career in hospitality spanning nearly 30 years, with over 26 dedicated to the Hiltons of Chicago Sales Complex. With her strong commitment to coaching and team mentorship, Alison will bring considerable expertise and leadership in this new role, and will be able to further expand on the work in her current role as the Director of Sales, Citywide Strategy.
As Complex Area Director of Sales and Marketing, Alison will oversee the commercial performance and strategic direction for Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel, Hilton Chicago, and The Drake Hotel, leading comprehensive sales and marketing initiatives across the complex. She will be responsible for driving alignment with Sales, Catering, Revenue Management, Property Leadership and regional teams to create dynamic plans to achieve each property's goals across Group, Business Travel and Leisure sales and marketing. Additionally, Alison will be crucial in creating an inclusive and flexible culture for team members to thrive and grow.
Alison has earned many accolades throughout her career, including Hilton's Sales Leader Circle of Excellence and the Outstanding Sales Elevation Award. As a natural leader, she is passionate about mentoring the next generation of hospitality professionals, with a special emphasis on fostering talent at her alma mater, Michigan State University. She also supports various community endeavors, including fundraising initiatives and mentorship programs for women reentering the workforce through her work with UCAN Chicago where she serves on the Resource Development Committee.
