L'Auberge de Sedona, an award-winning luxury resort nestled in Arizona's Red Rock region, announces the appointment of Kevin Pickard as General Manager. Drawing from more than 25 years of leadership experience in hospitality, Pickard will oversee all operations of the newly transformed and expanded resort, including sales and marketing, accomodations and dining, and lead the team to deliver high-touch and attentive service to every guest.

Pickard joined L'Auberge de Sedona from The Lindy Renaissance Charleston in South Carolina and Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta in Georgia, two Aimbridge Hospitality-managed properties, where he served as Dual General Manager since 2023. In that role, he led two full-service hotels with a combined team of 200 employees and more than $40 million in top-line revenue, driving meaningful gains in earnings, profitability, and Intent-to-Recommend scores. In recognition of his leadership and performance, Pickard was honored with the 2023 AimbridgeWay Award as Aimbridge Full-Service General Manager of the Year. He originally joined Aimbridge Hospitality in 2020 as General Manager and Operations Director of the Renaissance Charleston.

Owned by DiamondRock Hospitality Company and managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, L'Auberge de Sedona has entered a new chapter following a significant $30 million expansion, including the addition of 70 guest rooms in its new Cliffs category for a total of 158 rooms. The transformation also included the addition of Duck Pond, a new luxurious poolside retreat, and a stunning event terrace - all thoughtfully designed by renowned architects Kollin Altomare and interior designers at Whitespace to showcase the destination's world-famous Red Rock views. Additional resort enhancements include refreshed dining spaces, a new in-room dining program, and the evolution of L'Apothecary Spa into a full-service wellness center with expanded offerings including new water therapies, treatments, and an outdoor relaxation garden.

Prior to joining Aimbridge Hospitality, Pickard spent more than 20 years with Marriott International, where he held senior leadership roles across hotel operations, brand advocacy, events, and food and beverage, including positions at Marriott corporate headquarters and flagship Renaissance and Marriott properties nationwide.Hailing originally from Peterborough, Ontario, Pickard studied hospitality and operation administration at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario, before earning a Bachelor of Science in hospitality and business administration at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester. Along with delivering superb hospitality professionally, Pickard has had a number of recreational passions, including as a beekeeper for as many as 60,0000 bees producing up to 200 pounds of honey per year, and playing rugby.
