The beloved Sonoma Farmhouse Inn has reopened for the 2026 season and announced the appointment of Executive Chef Julio Aguilera, who will lead the culinary vision at Farmhouse Inn Restaurant with a completely refreshed menu rooted in seasonality and regional sourcing.
A thoughtful and disciplined culinary leader, Chef Aguilera brings a strong commitment to craft, mentorship, and ingredient-driven cooking. Formerly Executive Chef at Copas in San Francisco and Morrofino in Miami, he has developed a cuisine grounded in classical technique and inspired by Mediterranean and coastal traditions, with a focus on working closely with local producers.
At Farmhouse Inn Restaurant, Chef Aguilera's new menus explore the duality of cuisine by pairing wild and farmed local ingredients. Signature entrées include Chicken, Steak, Ora King Salmon, and Capellacci, complemented by from-scratch desserts such as Citrus & Cream and Chocolate & Passionfruit.
Set on a historic six-acre property in the heart of Sonoma County and the Russian River Valley, Farmhouse Inn is known for its fine-dining restaurant, chef's garden, and deep relationships with local winemakers and artisans. Under Chef Aguilera's leadership, the restaurant will further celebrate the region's bounty with ingredient-forward dishes that reflect both place and season, reinforcing Farmhouse Inn's position as a destination for elevated wine country dining.
