The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad is pleased to announce the appointment of Rick Corcoran as General Manager. Making his return to The Ritz-Carlton brand, Corcoran brings more than three decades of global luxury hospitality experience to the role.
A seasoned hotelier for over 30 years, Corcoran has worked throughout the U.S., Canada and the Middle East, and has held leadership positions with The Ritz-Carlton, Baccarat Hotels, 1 Hotels, and Fairmont Hotels. Most recently, he served as General Manager of Baccarat Hotel New York, earning the coveted General Manager Biggest Impact Award. Prior to his most recent role, Rick served as General Manager of the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge where he was recognized as General Manager of the Year.
Corcoran is well known within The Ritz-Carlton family, having previously served as General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, where the hotel was awarded Hotel of the Year in the Luxury West Region during his tenure. His career also includes leadership roles at Fairmont properties, including Food and Beverage Director at Fairmont San Francisco and Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Québec, as well as Hotel Manager at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, where he played a key role in shaping the property's successful business plan leading into the 2010 Olympic Games.‑Carlton family, having previously served as General Manager of The Ritz‑Carlton, San Francisco, where the hotel was awarded
A native of Québec City, Corcoran holds a diploma in Culinary and Hospitality Management from the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec. His return to The Ritz-Carlton underscores the brand's commitment to exceptional leadership, meaningful guest experiences and luxury at its flagship New York City destination.
