Today, Viewline Resort Snowmass, Autograph, announced the appointment of Nitin Bali as Executive Chef. Overseeing all culinary and pastry operations, Chef Bali brings a wealth of global luxury experience to the heart of the Rockies. He will lead the resort's dining vision across its signature outlets—including Stark's Alpine Grill and the Viewline Lobby Bar—as well as overseeing in-room dining and comprehensive events catering for the property's 24,000 square feet of meeting space.

Chef Bali's appointment marks a significant step in establishing Viewline Resort Snowmass as a premier dining destination. He leads with a philosophy rooted in modern fusion and farm-to-table principles, celebrating seasonal mountain ingredients while elevating classic dishes with contemporary flair. His vision is backed by a deep commitment to ethical sourcing, sustainability, and collaboration with local farmers and artisans to capture the unique spirit of Snowmass.

A classically trained chef, Bali holds degrees in Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry, and Business Management. His unique dual background in savory and pastry arts allows him to infuse each menu with balance and refined technique. Bali joins Viewline Resort Snowmass following a distinguished career in the luxury hotel segment, including Ritz Carlton and JW Marriott.

Chef Bali brings proven culinary leadership and a strong record of recognition to his new role. He most recently served as Executive Sous Chef at JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, where he was named 2024 Leader of the Year for his role in launching the hotel's culinary operations. His career includes additional honors at The Ritz‑Carlton South Beach and The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta, as well as the distinction of cooking for members of the Royal Family during his time in Qatar. His previous accolades include being nominated for Leader of the Quarter at The Ritz-Carlton South Beach (2022 & 2023) and winning Employee of the Quarter at The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta (2016 & 2018). Notably, during his tenure in Qatar, Bali had the distinct opportunity to cook for the Royal Family.

Beyond the kitchen, Bali is an avid traveler and explorer, having visited 20 different countries and 22 U.S. National Parks to experience diverse food, history, and culture. He speaks five languages and is currently learning two more. His inspiration often comes from art and nature, which he incorporates into his work and menu design.
